A Multiplayer MIDI controller!

This website is a platform to create and share Multiplayer MIDI Controller setups. Within each setup you can manage a multiplayer environment for controlling your synths and other MIDI capable equipment. How you create your setup is up to you, but you could take a look at the tryout example or public setups for inspiration.

During a live session, the host shares views with the participating players. A view contains a collection of buttons, toggles, sliders or coins which control MIDI CC parameters or trigger MIDI notes.

Conceptually, the ability to give a participant control over a musical parameter opens up many possibilities. A first question would be: Which roles could I give? Not just musical roles, such as a theremin player, but also roles that get an elaborated position within the concept, such as the prison guard, could be given conceptually suitable auditory control. This allows you to explore various concepts within interactive art, auditory games, gadgets, modular setups and more.
